Or is it really before, before it spreads all its seeds?
Photography has been one of my favorite hobbies since I was ten years old and I got my first camera. I've always wanted a micro lens. I still don't have one for my 35 mm but the little camera I keep with me has one. There's no honeybee or ladybug in this picture but I like it anyway. The focus is on the front of the flower. Know what it is? It's a dandelion! They're everywhere right now. There's a park catercorner (which I think should be cattycorner but spell check says no) from my home and the park is full of them. They seem to spread to the whole neighborhood overnight. I love being able to get a picture of something so small to fill the entire frame without cropping.
Those are fabulous pictures! The other day my 3 year old grandson was visiting and he saw the dandelions and said with great glee "Oh, you have fwowers just like the ones we have!"
ReplyDeleteI always said Kitty-corner & it is in the dictionary. Sometimes spell checker doesn't get it. I like making up words and saving them to Spell checker. Like Catchyalayda! But Catercorner? I think I'd never bother with that one again. It sounds like pure Hillbilly!

Thank you for the compliment. I absolutely love photography.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love his comment!
I agree - kittycorner, it is. Or cattycorner. I like both. Kitty, catty, same thing, just age, yes? Not cater.
